The Epic Four Journey
“We should probably tell your dad what’s going on.” Eve said “Are you crazy?” Adam said. “Why?” Eve asked. “Because…” Adam said. “I think we should try to deal with this ourselves.” I said. “Without involving anyone else.” I continued. “What do you mean?” Jake asked. “Well, how about if we try to figure out who the hell this man really is and why does he want to get access to dad’s office?” I said.
"So i think the first thing we should probably do is head to dad's office and ask him what this man might want with him." I said. "You think that's wise?"
"What do you mean?" I asked. "Well, you just said we shouldn't get anyone else involved." Jake said. "But i think we s
"...should talk your dad about this,"
"NO!" Adam yelled, everyone flinched and looked at Adam who was huffing and puffing, "
"Jheeze, you don't have to yell," Jake said, "you could've said it nicely." Jake said feeling hurt.
"I'm sorry, but my dad isn't someone to reason with,"
"Yeah guys, we don't wanna get anyone involved, or worse killed." Eve said.
"Okay, but we must find a way to get to dad'd office, whatever this man wants, it's in there." I said. There was silence for a moment. "Okay." Adam finally said.
"Actually," Adam said, "there is only one time when my dad leaves the place unattended." We all looked at Adam curiously.
"Okay, and when is that?" Eve asked. "Well, my dad likes to, how should i put it...." I interrupted him.
"I think we should try to go in to your dad's office during the night, when we will be sure no one will be there." I said. "It will be safer."
"I have a way to... let's say.... make the security go blind..." I said. "You what?" Jake asked, surprised.
"Just leave it up to me, and i will show it then." I said. "So, what should we do?"
"What do you mean?" Jake asked.
"It's early. We still have a few hours to kill..." I said. "Well, I am way too nervous to do anything." Eve admitted.
"Well how about we rest up, and wake up early tomorrow. There's going to be a lot to do for tomorrow, if we want to succed in the plan." I said, and everyone agreed.
We all decided to go back home and sleep. Except I wasn't able to sleep, I needed to get the stuff ready for tomorrow.
When everyone fell deep asleep I went to my only reliable source who I knew would be awake at anytime and would help me with anything I needed. Justin.
I sent Justin a message. It wouldn't be long until he would reply me. I opened about a bag and took a cup from it.
By then my phone vibrated. I read the text from Justin: "Meet me in the Garage in 10mins"
I nodded at the text (which was odd since he wouldn't know I did that) and continued by packing the essential for this mission.
It was odd, but everytime i needed something, i knew i could always count on Justin. We since always had this connection between us that i couldn't exactly explain what it was.
I finished packing and then headed for the garage. Justin was already there. "Hey." I greeted. Justin looked up from his datapad and looked at me.
"It's been 12 minutes" Justin remarked. "Sorry" I replied. Bashfully, I approached Justin. "I need your help"...
"I found something." Justin interrupted. "What do you mean?" I asked, surprised.
"I found something from Adam's dad's past." Justin said. "You wanted info about him, right?" Justin asked looking at me. "Yes, but..." I said.
I faltered not knowing what to say next. I needed stuff for the plan but what about Adam's dad's past, what could it be? I had to find out. "What is it that you found?"
"Well, it seems he was involved in something pretty serious as in super super confidential." Justin said.
"Something that could ruin his reputation in the company," He finished. "Confidential? Ruin his rep? Like what?"
"Well, it's confidential, i was not able to figure that part out." Justin said. "But i will get there... eventually."
"But i don't think it's directly connected with the company. It was something related to his brother." Justin said. "His brother?" I said.
"I didn't know he had a brother." I said. "I should probably contact Adam. And ask him about it." I said. "No need." Jus
Justin said. "It seems the confidential part here is not actually because of him but because of his brother." I looked at Justin, confused. "Here." Justin showed me
something on the screen.
It looked like a scandel in the article. But nothing definite. Just bits and pieces.
"I think you should keep looking into it, there seems to be more than the article suggests." I said to Justin, he nodded in agreement and then continue with the research.
"Oh before you get to it, can you try and give me those silent bomb gases please, I need quite a few of them," I asked.
Justin nodded, without questioning went towards his tool cupboard and came back with a dozen of the bombs, "is that enough?" I nodded surprised at the amount.
"Anything else I can do for you?" He asked tenderly, I felt a little embaressed, I didn't know why though, "Umm..no, but thanks for this and that info you dug up."
"Not a problem," Justin replied with a glow in his face, "glad I could help. Now if you'll excuse me I got to work on this engine," and with that went onto discussing
and with that went onto working on the engine while humming a joyful tune. I had to hurry back home.
